ARETA NEW LV AND RU CHAMPION - 22.08.2010

Great news from Areta's family - at Rezekne national show Areta was awarded EXC1, BB2 with last needed CAC and with this lovely Areta Ari Liberta has become Latvian and Russian Champion!!! Our best congratulations to the owner Sanita, wery well done! And if all goes like planned Areta will be on motherhood duties already this Autumn, stay tuned for exciting puppy news very soon!

Great show news  - our sweet Ariel has finished her Latvian Champion title last weekend! There were 3 National shows this weekend in Marupe with wonderful results.

We are having a wonderful Summer time - enjoying the sun, water and sand. WORLD WINNER GABI - 26.06.2010

We are so proud of our RR family - what a fantastic day for Marit at World Winner show in Denmark - KANGELANI'S GENTLE GABY BY CLAY - World Winner 2010, CACIB, Best of breed!!! What a day, I wish I have been there too to see this lovely show! Our warmest hugs and best congratulations to Gaby's proud breeder & owner Marit at Kennel Kangelani's - you are awesome and Gaby is georgeous! last Summer Marit was visiting Chango's & Habi's puppies at our plce and both Gaby & Thanzi gained LV & EST CH titles at one weekend and I must admitt that since then my heart belongs to sweet livernoses. And Gaby shows again, that there can be fabulous wins after motherhood duties - last Winter Gaby had a litter with Chango. Way to go girls!!!

But this is not even all - Habi's breeder Tuija has shown her super hero MALOZI GIMLI with flying colors again - Gimli won the huge open class with CC and now is also DK Champion!!! Yuhuu - Tuija, Karri, Johanna, Paivi - what a great result again for your lovely boy, so proud of you all! My dearest Habi is 5 years old - happy birthday our darling!!! Big hugs to all brothers, sweet sister, mommy, daddy and of course dear Tuija at MALOZI. We are keeping fingers crossed for our friends and relatives WW already :)

MARATHONE - 8.06.2010

New Summer activity is here - we all had a fantastic weekend with our RR friends at the Riga stylish marathone Zelta Keda! We had a great runner's team "Red Wheaten" and the most important thing - everyone had so much fun, amazingly lovely day! SUMMER TIME - 3.06.2010

Enjoy some new galleries added: girl fun, Koby's holidays, and small B reunion at our place in May! Habi and Ali is sunbathing most of the time, I try to catch up sometimes :) My garden is working quite promissing, I even have a tiny glasshouse with tomatos and paprika, I will keep you updated with my success :D

Breeze is our top model for Latvian pet magazine "ASTES" this month. Our brown nosed girl was chosen as the sweetest puppy to represent Rhodesian Ridgebacks on the cover page! Also find the article on RR on the pages 26-29, you will find pictures of Habi, Ali, Athena, Bora & other puppies there too. And on the page 40-41 there is an article on rex cats, our Nina is there as well. Meanwhile Linards is instructing how to prepare tasty chicken wings for kids parties on "IEVAS VIRTUVE" page 30 :)

BORA AND BAKITA - 26.04.2010

Spring is here and on a lovely Sunday afternoon we invited our best & oldest dog friends to our place. It was fun and so nice to see you all again, dogs had so much fun and so did we! Lovely afternoon and plenty of pictures of happy, smiling dogs here...

SPRING NEWS - 16.04.2010

Spring is here, yes, after this LOOOOONG Winter it seems almost impossible, so please be patient with updates and new pictures, I have so many galleries to update, but as the sun shines, I can not stay inside :) This Spring I have committed me to upgrade my garden finally, I am trying to get some nice flower plants growing on the windows already and I have prepared me for a nice vegetable garden on the other side of the garage. This  is a real challange for me, so let's see where it brings me :) Meanhwile enjoy Bora's Spring activities here... Sunny greetings to you all!

PUPPY SHOW NEWS - 23.02.2010

Valmiera is a nice city famous with well organized shows so we headed to the 2x National show this weekend. We were represented by two lovely puppies there - Bora and Bango and they both performed excellent! Both puppies were awarded with "Very Promissing" & "Promotion Prize" and Bango was a real gentlemen, giving the Best of Breed Puppy title to his sweet little sister Bora. So Bora is now already 3 times BOB puppy during her 3 shows - way to go girls Baiba and Bora!!! Also big congratulations on Bora's home brother's Koby's 3rd CAC, just one more to go, right :) Thanks for a lovely weekend and hopefuly Spring comes some day...

BANGO BOB PUPPY IN TALLINN - 15.02.2010

Life has to go on. It is hard and will take a long time for us all to get used to the fact that big brother Ayo is no longer with us, but I know Ayo is happy to see his friends doing so well.

Little Bango went to Tallinn with his Family this weekend to attend his first puppy show abroad. Ridgebacks were judged by Petru Muntean, Romania and little Bango did great - BOB puppy with Promotion Prize and his first trophy!!! Many congratulations to the owners Eva & Gustavs, such a long trip for a puppy show is not a thing everyone would do! Well done and let's keep up the good work :) More pictures will be added a bit later.

SADDEST NEWS I HAVE EVER WRITTEN - 10.02.2010

My heart is broken and tears can't stop falling, but life is life and even the best of the best ones are leaving. Ayo left us so suddenly, yesterday in the evening. The car. In the dark. Destiny. Our Golden Boy. Dearest friend, family member, brother, son, playmate, winner - best of the best - it was our Ayo. He spent 2 wonderful years, made so many great things in his life, not many dogs accomplish so much in decades what he did for his Family and Friends only in 2 years. Ayo brought Janis to his new Family, he saw that they are happy and enjoyed every minute of the life. Ayo was born as the last one, found the best owner as the last one from all and left as as the first one, so unfair, but I keep telling myself, it was a Destiny, that is why he was so special, cause he knew... Since today he will stay at our place forever, he liked it here a lot. Habi and Ali said goodbye to the loving son and brother. Janis heart is broken, but he has his wonderful Family and us all for support, so we will manage all together. And Ayo knew we all loved him so much. He will do great, grandma Thembi will take good care and there will be many friends for our Golden Ayo over the rainbow bridge. Rest in piece Dear Ayo. With love - your Family and Friends Forewer.

WINTER PICTURES - 2.02.2010

Enjoy our 3 latest Winter galleries - Ayo has been staying at our place, some new pictures added to his site. Briize, Bora & Bayo had fun with our girls up and now, we have been leading an active Winter life with cross country skiing with dogs, all weekends we spend on the Latvian skiing resorts as our kids have started to ski and with this adorable Winter it is absolutely worth it! We spend a lovely weekend at Lido Kalns in Ergli, this was wonderful, kids had so much fun - highly recomended get-away :)

AMONDI SHOWS IN VILNIUS - 1.02.2010

Better later, right ;) Amondi had a nice show at the end of last year and I did not share it with everyone, so I am making it right now - lovely boy Amondi won the class with his first big CAC on an INT show in Vilnius last December. Judge was Jelena Kruus, EST and Amondi won the open class and placed as BM-3! I was very happy and so were Amondi's owners Tadas and Aire. Actually it is getting like a small habit to show Amondi just once a year in the INT show in Vilnius in December, last year he was BOB Junior with JCAC at his first show, so let's continue it in the same way. And since January Amondi has a lovely playmate puppy - Nyathi Do Me Crazy, so I bet boys are having pleanty of fun already now! Amondi's true twin sister Ariel also did nice, placed EXC 2 both days. We have been cross country skiing actively with our dogs lately in the woods with Bora's & Koby's family, only now our girls decided to spoil it a bit as they both are in heat... Some nice pictures from the previous weeks here...

And Bango went to his second show in puppy class this weekend and came back with nice results - best puppy male with PP!!! Congratulations to owners and here you can see how great RR's live in Sigulda - Bango having fun with Ayo and Trevors...

A very happy Birthday to our A team - 2 years old already!!! Best wishes, tasty treats, 2 cakes and one candle - you all desere this!!! Many hugs and kisses from proud mommy Habi! Birtday celebration is shifted to February due to some practical reasons, but it will be fun, stay tuned :)

SEMINAR BY GERARD O'SHEA - 12.01.2010

End of last year we spend a lovely week in Vilnius at Gerard's anatomy seminar, it was great! We learned many wonderful things and on the last day we spend a fantastic practical evaluation of real dogs showing - extremly valuable course for up to date breeders/future judges who want to learn why the dogs moove this or that way and what couses it. Pictures from our course here and many thanks to organizers Kristine & Donatas for a wonderful time in Vilnius, it was fun! There is planned another handling  course by Gerard O'Shea this Summer - July 6-8, if you are interested please send an e-mail!

HAPPY NEW YEAR - 2.01.2010

The new 2010 is already here - may it be happy, healthy and joyful all year long! The very best wishes to all our dear friends and family! Many thanks for the lovely greeting cards, presents and parties - the holiday time is fun!!!

I would like to put some highlights of the 2009 here, just to show how great this year has been for all of us.

First and the most joyful was Habi's lovely win in Spain - my fantastic Malozi Habiba gained her last needed CACIB with Spanish CAC and BOO for completing the International Champion Title! INT & MULTI CH Habi is a proud mommy of 21 babies (12 A's and 9 B's) and enjoys beautiful wins from her kids already.

Habi's and Hony's puppies have shown at their very best this year, we have 10 more champion titles from our A litter and 3 puppies have been X-rayed with clear results - all are HD:AA, ED:00!

Alizeti Ari Liberta finished 4 new titles this year - BALT JCH & LV CH. My dear sunshine added 2 CACIB's to her account, 2x Res CACIB's, LV CAC, 2x PL CAC, wonderful Class win with SK CAC and Club CAC from World Dog's Show in Bratislava, 2x BOO and BOB with Best in Group placement!

Ariel Ari Liberta also added 4 new titles this year - LV, EST, LT & BALT JCH. Lovely Ariel gained her 1st CACIB and 2x PL CAC's this year, Res CAC from CZ, 3x BOO and 2x BOB junior placements!

Areta Ari Liberta  with very limited showing has some nice wins to share already 2x LV CAC, LT CAC, RU CAC, CACIB, BOB, BIG-2!!!

Amber Ari Liberta became Champion of Federation with CAC and BOO in St.Petersburg!

Athena Ari Liberta passed obedience test in Luxemburg this Autumn, agility is left for 2010 :)

Ayo Ari Liberta finished 2 new titles this year - LT JCH & LV CH. My golden boy added CACIB & Res CACIB to his account, 2x became Best of Breed and continued to BIG 2 and BIS 4 placements!!!

Asadi Ari Liberta is proud owner of 2 new LT JCAC's, 2x PL CAC's, Res CACIB, 2x BOB & BIG 3 placements! Asadi also passed BH test successfully!

Akello Ari Liberta has been just once at the show and brought back home his first CAC!

Amondi Ari Liberta is showing just once a year, but with nice results - LT CAC with the class win!

 We also did great in brace competitions - BIS 1, BIS 2 and BIS 3 placements for our A's!!!

This Summer Habi's and Chango's puppies were born, it was a super trip to Norway and I am very happy that we have 9 adorable puppies from this valuable combination. It was also great to have Marit visiting us, Thanzi and Gaby had a successfull trip gaining 4 new CH titles in one weekend :) B team has been growing outstanding and the only show they have been to has been fantastic - all 3 were very promising and little Bora was BIS BABY at her very fist show - oh boy, I was proud, but of course the main showing will start in 2010, so stay tuned ;)
